Please help me both honor and congratulate the following scholarship recipients from the class of 2015.  Both of the notable scholarships below are both commendable and prestigious!  Having one Boettcher is often a commendable achievement for any school but to have two recipients in one year is remarkable!   This just once again edifies the tremendous work and dedication our staff has to student achievement.  We serve the best community and have some of the most talented, bright, and creative minds around.

PARCC Assessments/ Security Update

Hello SLHS Community,

I want to personally thank you for all the support and communication around the PARCC assessments.  This has been a very stressful time for all school communities as we battle the ever present ideology of standarized assessments.  You continue to be a voice of reason for your children and we compltely respect your rights and thoughts around standarized testing.  

The assessments begun with very few glitches, much less than expected.  We have upgraded our technology in the building not only to meet the needs of students for PARCC but to enhance the 21st century learning skills for our student body.  

SECURITY UPDATE-

JEFFCO just increased our campus cameras with an additional 18 cameras placed in specific areas within the school building.  The high grade cameras are installed and running.  This upgrade will allow us to better manage and maintain a very safe learning environment for our school community.  School safety is of the utmost importance to us and we will continue to enhance/improve our practice as a school.  Our permananet signs for the exterior doors have arrived as well and installation should take place within the next two weeks if the weather cooperates.
