Martin Luther King JR Holiday

I hope you all had a very blessed Holiday as we remember MLK Jr across this nation.  A man who's reputation, perseverance, and hope for humanity changed the way we live today-

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.  Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that"

Parent Conferences

SLHS Community,

We're excited to offer a change to our Fall parent conferences.  In years past we offered two evenings of conferences for an average of 3.5 hours per night.  Unfortunately our second evening was always very low attended thus the reason for a shift to one night this year.  Conferences will take place today in the gymnasium from 2:00pm to 7:00pm-

Looking forward to seeing you all this evening.

2016-17 school year has arrived....

Welcome back Freshman Class of 2020!

We are ready to welcome the newest class of Gators to the Swamp and our student body, staff, and community are very excited for a new year!

All students will make their way back to the SWAMP on Friday as we get the new year rolling!

Congratulations to our Newspaper Production and Journalism program as they were nominated once again for the Peacemaker Award for the best HS newspaper in America!  SLSH received this prestigious distinction in 2014 but are very proud to once again be a finalist for the award!

The staff is excited about our new bell schedule and proving our community/students with more time to sleep and prepare for their academic day-
